Both I believe are a little too complicated and in-depth for this project. I have some experience with Resolume Arena 5 and much experience with Avolite's Ai Technology. I'm not fully sure, but I'm thinking it has to be a laser projector because, a lamp wont be able to survive the difficulties of storms as well as a laser projector(?). The projector will have a roof over its head with some side protection. What projectors do you have experience with that can withstand outdoor environments: rain/ side rain/ warm weather (40☏ - 110☏)? What is the most intuitive projection mapping software that, after focusing and mapping, will be easy to turn on, and run day after day? The trees will need to be closely mapped but it doesn't have to be perfect. ![]() Theres good mounting positions all over his estate so mounting and focusing shouldn't be a problem. The "mapped area" being the fully grown palm trees behind his estate, that overlook a beach. I have a client who would like a row of trees in his back yard to be "projection mapped" and have various images and scenes running in the background while his logo "bounces" around the mapped area (His words). I was a fulltime LD before COVID, now I'm moving into video/ scenic design. Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question.
